Dental Hygienist and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist
BOH (UoN)
With nearly 20 years of experience in the dental industry, Hannah has spent over 12 years as a Dental Hygienist in private practice, actively engaging in patient education and establishing numerous meaningful connections. Personal encounters with chronic mouth breathing, sleep issues, jaw pain, teeth grinding, and observing her own child develop orofacial dysfunctional habits prompted a journey into studying orofacial myofunctional therapy.
Motivated by a desire to comprehend the underlying causes of dental disorders, she developed an interest in diet, sleep, breathing, growth and function. Demonstrating a strong commitment to self-education and professional growth, she maintains a keen focus on prevention. Actively encouraging and educating patients and parents to recognise orofacial myofunctional disorders in their families, she advocated for natural growth and maximum potential through correct function.
Her dedication is evident in her mission to assist others and their families in achieving improved breathing, quality restful sleep, enhanced functionality, and overall thriving. Emphasising the importance of prevention over cure, she extends a welcoming hand to guide individuals on the path to better health. Beyond the clinical setting, her interests include the gym, gardening, exploring nature, traveling, playing footy with her son and indulging in the companionship of her cavoodle, Benji.
